HOW MUCH IS REGISTRATION?
April 1 - April 7, 2024: $65
April 8 - May 31, 2024: $75

IS THERE DAY-OF REGISTRATION?
No. The last day to register is August 24, 2024.
WHAT DOES MY ENTRY FEE ENTITLE ME TO?
Your entry fee includes:
- Official bib number for the race
- Registration gift (hoodie for 2024)
- Special finishers gift (running hat for 2024)
- Access to race expo at Mohegan Pennsylvania
- Expo goodie bag
- Finisher medal
- Access to post-race party

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE EXPO AND PACKET PICKUP?
The expo and packet pickup is on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Mohegan Pennsylvania (1280 PA-315, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702).
CAN I PICK UP MY PACKET AT THE START LINE?
No. Packet pick up is not available on race day. You or a proxy must pick up the packet on Saturday, August 31 at the expo.
CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP MY RACE PACKET?
Yes. A proxy may pick up your packet if they bring a copy of your ID or your race confirmation.
CAN I GET A REFUND, TRANSFER, OR DEFERRAL?
No. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals once registered for the race. However, we can offer you two options. The first option, we can remove you from the entry, and the fee you paid will be seen as a donation for our charity partners. The alternative option, we can switch you to a virtual participant, you can submit your time, and we will send your entrant gift and medal after the event.
WHAT IS THE RACE CAPACITY?
The Wyoming Valley Run is limited to 2,000 registrants.
HOW DO GROUPS/TEAMS WORK?
On RunSignUp, you will have the option to sign up under a race group or team. Each team must have at least three people. Everyone on the team will run the full 10-mile course. The three fastest team members will be the “scorers.” Their times will be added together, and the lowest aggregate combined times will determine placement. Awards will go three deep in this category.

Race Day Information
WHAT IS THE PARKING & SHUTTLE SITUATION?
The Wyoming Valley Run will provide a complimentary race shuttle to the start. See Transportation + Parking for details.
CAN SOMEONE DROP ME OFF IN PITTSTON?
Yes. Keep in mind that some roads may be closed.
WHAT TIME DOES THE RACE START?
Start times are as follows:
- 7:00 a.m. Walkers start
- 7:50 a.m. Handcyclists start
- 8:00 a.m. Runners start

WHERE DOES THE RACE START AND FINISH?
The race starts in downtown Pittston near the intersection of Main Street and Charles Street. The race finishes on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre.

DO I GET A DROP BAG?
No.
WILL THERE BE AID STATIONS?
Yes. There will be five aid stations along the course at miles 2.5, 4, 5.5, 7, and 8.5. Aid stations will have snacks, water, and electrolyte mix. Port-a-johns will also be stationed along the course.
CAN I RECEIVE SUPPORT FROM CREW/SPECTATORS?
No.
CAN I HAVE A PACER?
No.
CAN I LISTEN TO MUSIC/HEADPHONES DURING THE RACE?
For your safety, The Wyoming Valley Run does not recommend listening to music and headphones during the race.
IS THERE A TIME LIMIT?
There is a four-hour time limit. The course will be shut down at 12:00 p.m. If you are still on the course after the time limit, you run at your own risk.
IS THERE A CASH PRIZE PURSE?
Yes. The Wyoming Valley Run has a prize purse of $10,000. See the Awards + Elite page for a list of cash prizes.
IS THERE AN AWARDS CEREMONY?
Yes. The awards ceremony will be on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre.
IS THERE A RAIN DATE?
No. The race will be held rain or shine.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
Sorry, we have a no pets policy due to safety concerns and insurance reasons. This includes race participants, spectators, and volunteers. Only service animals are allowed.
ARE STROLLERS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE?
No.

WHO IS THE RACE BENEFICIARY?
The Wyoming Valley Run benefits five local nonprofits: Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA, Greater Wyoming Valley Area YMCA, Northeast Sight Services, and Wyoming Valley Children's Association.
IS THERE A PARTNER HOTEL?
Yes. Mohegan Pennsylvania is our partner hotel. A booking link will available here.
WILL THERE BE AN AFTER-PARTY?
Yes. The after-party will be at Embers Terrace at Moehgan Pennsylvania at 5 p.m.
